A daily recovery practice
End the day with honesty and service
Take a quiet look at the day. Where were you honest? Where did fear, resentment, or self-centeredness guide your response? What needs an apology or a conversation? Notice the help you received and the actions you want to practice again tomorrow.
Keep recovery connected to life. Speak with your sponsor or recovery buddy, make time for prayer and meditation, and find an appropriate way to serve. Welcoming a newcomer, helping set up a meeting, or listening carefully can be a beginning. You can practice the principles without having a perfect day.
Put it into practice: Name one thing you are grateful for, one thing to put right, and one way to be useful tomorrow.
Reflect: How did I practice my recovery principles today?
